The History of Korean Language

Known as hangugo (한국어) has a wonderful history that reflects the deep richness of the Korean culture and Korean people.it is one of the oldest living languages in east Asia and also evolved through several stages over thousands of the years. From ancient to middle and middle Korean period to modern transformation of Korean language.
The ancient origins, earliest form of the Korean language, is believed to back through three kingdoms period, when Korea was divided into kingdoms of Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla. Some scholars suggest that early Korean was influenced by Chinese language. During the middle Korean period, the Korean language started to take a more organized form. The use of Chinese characters, known as Hanja, was common for writing, but it looked tough in writing for ordinary people due to its complexity. Later, the perfect year in Korean history, when the Korean language totally came to be known by people, 15th century during the Joseon dynasty. King Sejong with his scholars, created a new writing system called hangul. Hangul was created into simple and logical way so everyone could able to read and write. After the Japanese occupation hangul was established as a symbol of national pride and independence.
Today, Korea is spoken by millions of people worlwide.it continues to transform with new words as konglish (Korean+ English) hangul also admired globally due to its scientific design and cultural reflection.
